Senior Spotlight: Catelyn Samantha Cash

April 28, 2011 - Catelyn Samantha Cash is the 18-year-old daughter of William Cash and Lori Bomer. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Leonard and has attended Leonard schools five years.

Her LISD activities include student government four years, Beta Club three years, yearbook three years, drill team three years and FCA three years. Her accomplishments in these activities include president of student government one year, president of Beta Club one year, editor of yearbook one year, co-captain of drill team two years and secretary of FCA.

April 28, 2011 - Jordan Earl Norman is the 17-year-old son of Robert and Jane Norman. He is a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has attended Leonard schools 12 years. His activities include scouting, Beta Club six years, football four years, student government, basketball three years, golf one year, tennis three years and powder puff four years.

Senior Spotlight: Wesley Neil Orr

April 28, 2011 - Wesley Neil Orr is the 17-year-old son of Jeff Orr and Karla Walker. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Wolfe City and has attended Leonard schools all 13 years. At LHS Wesley has been active in band, track, FCA, choir, student government, Beta Club and UIL. He received individual honors in band, track and UIL.

April 28, 2011 - Cody Layne Smallwood is the 17-year-old son of Ron and Betty Dill. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Leonard and has attended Leonard schools four years. His activities/accomplishments while in LISD are track three years, golf two years, baseball one year, marching band one year and geocaching with Coach Connelly.

Junior and senior girls qualify for regional track

April 28, 2011 - Pictured are regional qualifiers Katelyn Womack (left) and Taylor Conti (right) as they competed during the regular track and field season for Leonard High School. Katelyn is a senior and is a regional qualifier in high jump, triple jump, and long jump. Taylor is a junior and is district champion in the 1600-meter run.
