June 23, 2011 - Services for George Thomas Hataway, 82, of Leonard, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard with Charles Wrenn officiating. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. He passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
Hataway was born Nov. 24, 1928, in Whiterock, the son of Ausburn and Lorene Crawley Hataway. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste.
He is survived by his cousins, Joe and Phyllis Crawley of Dallas, Jean Talley of Colleyville, Ralph and Winnie Evans of Celeste and Mamie Jo Johnston of Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Friday, June 17.
