June 16, 2011 - Celeste Elementary 4th and 5th grade students entertained a large crowd with a musical on May 31. The musical was a beautiful patriotic performance that warmed the hearts and stirred the souls of many. The students also honored the proud state of Texas by performing "Texas, Our Texas" and stating the symbolism of the Texas State Flag. The program closed with a stunning "Star-Spangled Banner" guitar solo by DeAnna Powell (top photo). Check out the CISD website photo gallery for more photos of the performance.
