Feb. 24, 2011 - The Celeste Bingo Club met on February 15 with Ruby Miller serving as hostess to eight other members. The members attending were Sarah Andry, Patsy Withworth, Mary Ann Hooks, Loretta Shuler, Evelyn Mulkey, Christine Carrington, Judy Hubbard, and Vicki J. Griffis.

The ladies enjoyed refreshments .Several games of Bingo were played with Loretta Shuler winning the final blackout game of the evening. Loretta received a rain gauge garden gnome statue and $10. The favorite prize was a cake pan and a white bath towel.
The club routinely meets the third Tuesday of each month in the Community Room at the First Bank of Celeste at 6:15 p.m. with the first game called at 6:30. Guests are welcome with all participants requested to bring an inexpensive gift for prizes. The next Bingo is scheduled for March 15 with Evelyn Mulkey as the hostess.
