John Mize, Jr. Completes Training

Private John H. Mize Jr., son of Yvonne Green, Grapevine, Texas, and John H. Mize Sr. of Celeste, Texas, recently completed the tank turret mechanic course at Fort Knox, Ky.
The course teaches soldiers to perform preventive maintenance on M-60A1 tank turrets. Upon completion, they are skilled as apprentice mechanics and can perform maintenance on the turret's hydraulic and electrical systems, range finders, and main gun firing computers.

Miss Lou Evans

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Evans are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Lou Evans to Ralph Evans of Celeste.
The wedding will be an event of January 28, 1961, at seven thirty o'clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Leonard.
No formal invitations will be issued. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the ceremony.
