MAY 5, 2011 - Several children from Village Apartments took advantage of full ditches and muddy alleys last Saturday to have an evening of entertainment.

Above, Luci Costello, Ruby Anderton, Sapphire Owens, Callista Aldridge and Trevor Cass play and wash off mud in deeper-than-usual-water running in a drainage ditch alongside U.S. Highway 69.

Below, Cass, Owens and Aldridge show the results of their mud fight that took place in the alley running between Leonard Center and the apartment complex. Their evening activities were courtesy of one of several downpours that the area has experienced over the last several weeks, keeping the ground saturated and the pools full.
