May 26, 2011 - The Leonard Community Farmers Market has more vendors arriving weekly as vegetables are beginning to come off the vines. Anyone within a 60 mile radius of Leonard can set up and sell their fruits, vegetables, jellies, salsa, homemade bread, eggs, meats, pies and other canned and baked foods each Saturday morning. Also, crafters are invited to bring their crafts to sell. The fee to be a vendor is $5 per month.

Expected to be ready for sell on Saturday are green beans, new potatoes, squash, zucchini, onions, eggs, peppers, jams, jellies, pies, cakes, salsa, homemade bread, plants, and possibly some crafts. Tomatoes and peaches should be ready pretty soon. Come on out and support the local farmers and get the freshest produce around.
