A memorial service for Ora Clarence "O.C." Pirtle, age 69 of Leonard, will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21 at The Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints in Bonham. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Stonewall, Okla. He passed away at his home in Leonard on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012. He was born in San Antonio on April 14, 1943.

Pirtle is survived by his wife, Lisa Brasher Pirtle of the home; mother, Lee Ora Simpson of Dallas; siblings, Sue Pirtle of Dallas, Donal Lee Teeter of Theodore, Ala., Eugene Teeter of Thomasville, Ala., and Diana Leatherman of Sanford; one nephew, Ty Hays and one great-nephew, Cade Hays of McClean.
