May 19, 2011 - Graveside services for Sally Shaw Hogue, 72, of Leonard, were held Wednesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at Restland Cemetery in Dallas with Rev. Jim McIntire officiating. She passed away at her residence on Friday, May 13, 2011.

Hogue was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Daniel Brown and LaNell Lois Bishop Shaw. She attended Cottey College in Nevada, Mo., and Kansas State College in Pittsburg, Ks. She married Rex M. Hogue on May 29, 1960, in Nevada, Mo. She was retired from Nortel Networks and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Richardson.

She is survived by her husband, Rex M. Hogue of Leonard; sons, Brett M. Hogue of Wylie and Bart Daniel Hogue of Richardson; daughter and son-in-law, Christi and Craig Roberts of Richardson; best friend, Lynn Furlow of Richardson and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
