A graveside service for Timothy Ferrell Dockery, 63, a former self-employed Leonard resident, was held Monday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. at the Leonard Cemetery wth Charles Wrenn officiating. He died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at the Honey Grove Nursing Center.

Dockery was born Aug. 13, 1947, in Sherman, the son of Ferrell and Modean Dockery of Leonard. He attended both Leonard and Trenton schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leonard.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Trimble, wife Lisa and their children (granddaughters) Hannah and Kelsey of Mobile, Ala., and Shane Dockery, wife Robyn and their children (grandsons) Zane and Clayton of Dodd City; sister, Lynette Norvell of Fairview; niece, Sherri Davis of Dallas, as well as numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family visitation was held at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard on Sunday, Jan. 16 from 6-8 p.m.
