Over the next few days, the Leonard High School basketball teams will be competing in some important games, and some support from a large crowd of fans would help tremendously.

The girls district season has ended and they will play their first playoff game in the bi-district round on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Come out and help them get a sweetheart of a win on Valentine’s Day. This game will be against Whitewright  at Anna High School at 7 p.m.

The varsity boys are still in standing to make the playoffs and are working hard to get there. They have two district games left and need a win in both games. This Friday, Feb. 10, they will play Caddo Mills in Caddo Mills. The freshman boys will start things off at 5 p.m., followed by the junior varsity boys and the finally the varsity boys. Their final district game will be on Monday, Feb. 13, in Leonard against Prairiland. The schedule will again include all three boys’ teams - freshman, junior varsity and varsity - with games starting at 5 p.m.

Both teams could use some loud, rowdy, fun and supportive fans at these big games.
