May 26, 2011 - Leonard Elementary Kindergartener Aiden Chesne puts on a plastic fire hat during Field Day last Friday, handed out by Leonard Volunteer Firefighter Billy Wayne Martin. Martin was on hand with the department's First Responder vehicle for the children to see, as well as an ambulance from Bonham Fire Department EMS. The children enjoyed taking turns climbing inside the ambulance for quick tours, in between bouts of drizzling rain.

Students at Leonard Intermediate and Leonard Elementary enjoyed Field Day - inside - on Friday, and pictured are some of the fun events planned for the kids.
