Jan. 27, 2011 - The CJHS Student Council is selling carnations for Valentine's Day, to be delivered on Friday, Feb. 11. The carnations are always very pretty and last for days. The cost is $1.50 each and forms are available in the office of each campus. Turn in your forms and money to Mrs. White at the junior high, your elementary teacher or any campus secretary.

Birthday Celebration

Andy Gay was honored on his nineteenth birthday Sunday, January 18 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Key. Cake, made in the shape of a tennis court and punch were served. Also, a game of 42 was enjoyed. Those attending were: Andy and his girlfriend, Diane Allen, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Gay Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Jim Butler and Brian, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Lindsey, Jason and Laura, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Gay and Christa and Mrs. J.W. Goodman.

Jan. 27, 2011 - Celeste Coffee Club met Jan. 20 with Ruth Barker as hostess. Attending were Rachel Clark, Gwen Schroth, Barbara Ashworth, Lynda Lou Thorp, Judy Hubbard, Bethalyne Lyon, Sarah Andry, Christine Carrington, Marjorie Denny, Mary Ann Hooks, Jo Willa Pierson, Ruby Miller and Frances Reynolds. The ladies enjoyed the refreshments served from tables decorated in blue and white. They especially enjoyed catching up on their missed fellowship while the meeting room was being remodeled.
