Feb. 24, 2011 - The Leonard Housing Authority continues to provide safe, decent, sanitary, affordable housing for those who qualify. Several units have been recently updated with new energy efficient windows and some with new cabinet facing through funding from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009.

Feb. 17, 2011 - Primary Care Associates of Leonard sees people of all ages, from newborn to geriatrics. Robin Kent and Mavis Hampton, the two full time providers for this facility would like the public to know, "We perform well exams, DOT physicals, pre-employment, sports and college physicals. We give kids well shots and checkups. We provide care for everything from colds to chronic care for the growing population in our area. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, CHIPS, Molina, BCBS, Aetna, United Health Care, PHCS and most major insurance providers."

Feb. 17, 2011 - On Saturday, March 5 at 5 p.m. Sonic of Leonard will host a fundraiser in the Leonard High School commons area for COTA in honor of Madeline Burke. Sonic will have Frito Chili Cheese pies for a flat fee of $5 with all proceeds going to the COTA fund in honor of Madeline. The BETA Club of Leonard High School will have a cold drink area with can drinks iced down for $1 each.
