UTD names Leonard grad to Dean's List

The University of Texas at Dallas recently announced that former Leonard student Robert Farmigoni, III, (Trey), was named to the fall 2010 Dean’s honor list. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 credit hours during that semester with a grade-point average among the top 10 percent within their respective schools. Farmigoni is the son of Robert and Kim Farmigoni and is a 2009 graduate of Leonard High School.

Dogs at pound available for adoption

Jan. 27, 2011 - Pictured below are two dogs that are currently in the Leonard pound, and available for adoption. Obtaining ownership is technically free, however, the city will require a rabies shot and city registration for those living within the city limits before releasing the animals.

Cozart honored with baby shower

Jan. 27, 2011 - Maria Cozart was honored with a baby shower on Saturday, Jan. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Pike Baptist Church. Hostesses for the shower were Elizabeth Christman, Sarah Congleton, Betsy Blevins and Kim Scott.
