MAY 5, 2011 - Katelyn Womack is the 18-year-old daughter of Rex and Donde Womack. She has attended Leonard schools two years.
While in Leonard schools her activities/accomplishments include varsity basketball her senior year, during which time she was named Academic All-District and All-District 6th Man; and varsity track two years - holding the high jump school record at 5'5" and being named high jump district 2010 champion, regional qualifier and track Co-MVP in 2010, and regional qualifer for the high jump, triple jump and long jump in 2011.
Some of Katelyn's favorites are as follows: food, green bean casserole; drink, Red Bull; color, yellow; place, Longview; movie, Talladega Nights; actor, Will Ferrell; actress, Julia Roberts; athlete, Steve Ott; team, Dallas Stars; song, If It's Love by Train; person, Albert Miles; book, Farenheit 451 and sports, basketball and track.
Her favorite thing, memory at LHS is her entire, amazing junior year. Her advice for underclassmen is, "Do your work, have as much fun as possible, and don't be in a hurry to leave." In her free time, she enjoys hanging out at home and watching television.
If she could change anything, she would have moved to Leonard sooner. Her pet peeve is when people chew food loudly, or "smack" their food.
After graduation, Katelyn plans to attend college three years and become a physical therapist assistant.
