Senior Spotlight: Stacie Stroud

MAY 5, 2011 - Stacie Marie Stroud is the 17-year-old daughter of Melissa Beth Taylor. She is a member of St. William's Catholic Church and has attended Leonard schools five years.

During her years at Leonard she has been active in FFA five years,Grayson County 4-H two years, Beta Club three years and UIL one year.

Her accomplishments in those activities are as follows: a member of FFA Show Team, Grayson County Veterinary Science Club officer and member two years, and served as a crew member of the UIL One-Act Play.

Some of Stacie's favorite things are the following: food, tortilla soup; drink, iced tea; color, black; places, home and west Texas; movie, Cry-Baby; actor, Gerard Butler; actress, Keira Knightley; team, TCU Horned Frogs; song, Love the Way You Lie by Eminem/Rihanna; person, Linsey Riggs, aka my fender boy; book, Wuthering Heights and sport, baseball.

Her favorite thing/memory at LHS is English class with Mrs. Moore. Her favorite free time activities are training and riding horses.

Stacie's advice for underclassmen is "Enjoy the little things". If she could do anything, she would travel the world. If she could change anything, she would rid the world of all the badness. Her pet peeve is people talking too much.

After graduation, Stacie plans to attend Tarleton State University in the fall to major in Pre-Vet Medicine.
