MAY 5, 2011 - Najwa Naomi Nwankwo is the 17-year-old daughter of Juanita Nwankwo. She is a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and has attended Leonard schools 13 years. While in Leonard schools she has been active in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, track, cross country and student government.
Some of Najwa's favorite things are as follows: food, Mexican; drink, sweet tea; color, orange; place, home; movie, Love and Basketball; actor, Will Smith; athlete, Lebron James; team, Dallas Mavericks; person, mom; book, Don't Die My Love and sport, basketball.
Her favorite thing/memory at LHS is playing basketball. Her favorite free time activities are to sleep, eat, repeat!
Najwa's advice for underclassmen is "Enjoy every day of high school while it lasts". If she could do anything, she would be Superwoman. If she could change anything, she would rid the world of all the violence. Her pet peeve is dramatic people.
After graduation she plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University, major in Biology and become a nurse.
