MAY 5, 2011 - Melba Compton served as hostess to eleven members and one guest in the April 27 meeting of the Celeste Coffee Club. The members attending were Ruby Miller, Frances Reynolds, Lynda Lou Thorp, Mary Ann Hooks, Rachel Clark, Judy Hubbard, Bethalyne Lyon, Jo Willa Pierson, Sarah Andry, Lou Evans and Patty Evans. Karen Lyons attended as a guest.
The hostess decorated the tables with white tablecloths and blue plates and napkins. The centerpiece consisted of blue sparkled tapered candles and a dainty crystal teapot with small blue sweet peas inside. The ladies complimented the hostess on the originality and beauty of the decorations. They enjoyed a large variety of fruits and other treats and the fellowship. A card was sent to a shut-in who is a former member of the club.
