Dear editor,

We would like to say thank you VERY much for all the support given to the Chamber's Easter Bake Sale fundraiser for the fireworks. It was a HUGE success, raising over $700. As always, the community stepped up to the occasion and we had successful results because of it!

Thank you to B&B Foods for letting us hold the event at the store. Thank you to Elaine Peebles, Zanne and Elizabeth Christman, Sarah Congleton, Ava Barlow and Angela Sadler for setting up. To Elaine Peebles, Willie and Liz Johnson, Joyce Buchanan, Ava Barlow and Angela Sadler, thank you for helping work shifts throughout the day. We had several people volunteer to bake for the sale, and would like to say thank you to the following: LaVonna Mitchell, Elizabeth Christman, Angela Sadler, Ava Barlow, Willie Johnson, Penny Edwards, Nora Younger, Betsy Blevins, Brenda Beck, Rose Farhood, Elaine Peebles, Robin Kent, Judge Lauri Blake, Jackie Kent, Susan Crossland, Lara Taft, Christy Flanagan, Becky Kegans, Joyce Buchanan, Tania Riley, Eddie Sudderth, Marie Buchanan and Sarah Congleton. These people donated over 30 items to help the Chamber raise funds for the fireworks, and we are very thankful for their generosity. And last, but certainly not least, thank you to the many people who stopped by the sale and bought items. This sale would not have been possible without the involvement of each one. Thank you for helping us organize another successful fundraiser for the Fireworks Extravaganza.
