April 21, 2011 - Andrew Caleb Spencer Simmons is the 17-year-old son of Eddie and Christy Simmons. He is a member of Blue Ridge Bible Church and has attended Leonard schools 13 years. During those years he has been active in baseball for four years, basketball for two years and band for four years.

In baseball he was named 2nd Team All-District one year, and Offensive Player of the Year one year. In band he achieved the status of Outstanding Brass one year, Outstanding Soloist one year and earned Sweepstakes with the LHS Band his senior year.

Some of Caleb's favorite things are as follows: food, steak; drink, Dr. Pepper; color, blue; place, the lake; movie, Bourne Identity; actor, Matt Damon; athlete, Nelson Cruz; team, Texas Rangers; book, The Bible; and sport, baseball.

Caleb's favorite memory at LHS is winning the softball tourney four years in a row at Field Day. His advice for underclassmen is, "Don't take any crap from upperclassmen." In his free time he likes to hang out with friends.

If he could do anything, he would go back to Europe. If he could change anything, he would change peoples' attitudes (bad) toward one another. His pet peeve is people who have the sniffles and won't blow their nose.

After graduation Caleb plans to attend college and become a registered nurse.
