March 31, 2011 - Leonard ISD will host an immunization clinic available to the public on Friday, April 1, in the Junior High Commons Area. The Texas Department of State Health Services will provide the immunizations for students or incoming students that need them in order to stay compliant with state laws for attending school. Your child may need vaccines if they have not had a booster shot since their fourth birthday; if he/she is entering the seventh grade; and/or if your 14-16 year old hasn't had a tetanus booster in five years. Tetanus shots may also be available for adults wishing to receive them, but the clinic is geared more for current or future students.
