March 31, 2011 - Residents at Leonard Manor got to participate in two special events recently. On Saturday, March 26, members of the Bois d' Arc Creek Cowboy Church came to the home and presented an entertaining program to the residents. They decorated doors and the resident's rooms with flowers, brought bingo prizes and presented a Bible to each one.

"We would like to say thanks for a great treat for the residents and giving of your time," said Activity Director Linda Copeland.

The day before, five ladies - Betty Dotson (pictured top), Floydine Campbell, Darlene Hunter, Juanita Moats and Jean Glasscock (pictured bottom)- took a field trip to Mama Murriell's Doll Museum, which was named in honor of their former housemate Murriell Bonds who passed away recently. Museum employee Lenora had a special luncheon for the residents and staff Activity Director Linda Copeland, Administrator Peggy Jones and Restorative Maegan Neeley. The day was exciting for all that took part.

"To Lenora and Jack Bonds - thank you for giving us a memorable time!" said Copeland.
