March 24, 2011 - On Saturday, April 2nd, at 1 p.m., the Creative Arts Center (CAC), located at 200 W 5th Street in Bonham, will be transformed into an elegant tea room, hosting the 2nd Annual 4-H Fashion Show and Tea; "Keys to Fashion," benefiting the youth and family services of the CAC and Fannin County Family Crisis Center (FCFCC). Similar to last year's highly successful event, in which over $600 was raised for the CAC and FCFCC, 4-H youth will model fashions they've constructed in their clothing and textiles projects as part of their county fashion show competition, qualifying to participate in the District 4-H Fashion Show later in April.

In addition, youth and ladies from the community will model fashions from 2nd Time Around, the second-hand consignment shop in Bonham, which supports the CAC's programs with their profits. Individual tickets are now available for purchase at $15 each. Seating is limited. A formal tea will be served, with classics such as scones with lemon curd, strawberry preserves, and whipped cream, cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad, and a host of elegant and delicious teatime sweets. Tables may be sponsored by businesses at the following rates: tables seating six are available for $150 and tables for four at $100. Musicians from Faith Church in Sherman will provide dining music. It's sure to be the event to usher spring into Fannin County. Tickets are available at the Fannin County Extension Office and the CAC, or you may call 214-500-3930 to arrange for your ticket purchase.
