March 24, 2011 - The Fannin County Family Crisis Center (FCFCC) was blessed to be the recipient of a donation check recently from the City of Leonard. Leonard City Administrator Butch Henderson recently presented the check to FCFCC Executive Director Becky Williams, in the company of several FCFCC directors who live or work in Leonard, and the staff of the center.

"The City of Leonard is generous to us, and has always been supportive of the Crisis Center," said board member Kim Dillard. "Not only the city as an entity, but the city as a whole - the community. We can always count on the people here to support us and help us reach our goals, and we couldn't do what we do without that support."

In addition to monetary donations and support, the City of Leonard and the Leonard Police Department allow an advocate from FCFCC to share their office one morning a week, which allows the center to more thoroughly serve the citizens of Leonard.

Anybody needing help or wishing to obtain more information about the center can call the office at 903-583-7694. As always, emergencies may be directed to the hotline at 903-583-7000, which is answered 24 hours a day by trained advocates.
