March 10, 2011 - The Leonard Chamber of Commerce is selling raffle chances for the ring pictured here, which was donated by Jack Bonds and Pawn Tech. The tickets are 1 for $5 or 10 for $20 and are for sale at all locations carrying the Chamber Banquet tickets (KD Johnson, Leonard Pharmacy, etc.). All of the proceeds from the raffle benefit the Fireworks Extravaganza planned for the this year's Leonard Picnic finale. The winner of the raffle will be drawn Monday, April 4, during the Chamber Banquet, after the door prize presentations.
Closer to the Picnic, the chamber will also be selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle to be given away Saturday night of the Picnic. Those tickets will go on sale at the same time and locations as the Picnic t-shirts and caps. This will also be a fundraiser for the fireworks.
