March 10, 2011 - Leonard resident Regina Taunton is sharing her Surprise Cake recipe and other family recipes with thousands of other hometown cooks at Just A Pinch Recipe Club, the new online community created for and by cooks in hometown America at www.justapinch.com.

Taunton is one of several area residents participating in the club, billed as "America's Greatest Recipe Swap". Members can post family recipes and search, print, chat about and try recipes submitted by other members.

They can also save recipes to a personal online recipe box, create grocery lists, plan meals and print hundreds of grocery coupons. In addition, members can create or join groups based on existing relationships (families, church and civic groups, etc. ), or affinities such as diabetic meals, crock pot cooking, budget meals, etc, and share recipes between members of the group.

Taunton's Surprise Cake recipe, along with thousands of others, can be viewed, printed and shared at no charge through the online club.

"I took the Wilton cake decorating classes a year ago and have been baking and decorating cakes for friends and family. For my mother's birthday this past December I asked her what flavor cake she wanted. She described a cake she use to make 30 or 40 years ago that had a surprise filling. Since this was her recollection I had to guess at the measurements. It turned out to be very delicious and she said it was just as she remembered it being," says Taunton.

Founded in 2010, Just A Pinch Recipe Club offers free memberships and premium perks. For more information, visit www.justapinch.com or www.facebook.com/justapinch.
