March 10, 2011 - The Fannin County Piecemakers recently finished a quilt that they have been working on for more than a year for the Fannin County Children's Center. Each member pieced together a square for this special quilt, before their handiwork was combined to create a beautiful masterpiece.

Group member recently presented the full-size quilt to the Children's Center. It will be sold in the auction at the seventh annual Justice Is Served fundraiser event hosted by the nonprofit agency. Proceeds from the quilt will support all of the services the agency provides to abused, neglected and needy children of Fannin County.

"We are thrilled to receive such a beautiful quilt," said Sandy Barber, Executive Director of the Children's Center. "This will likely be a very popular item in our auction."

Justice Is Served will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Multi-Purpose Complex just west of Bonham. All funds raised from the event will support CASA, the Children's Advocacy Center and other programs offered by the center. For more information, go to www.fanninccc.org.
