March 10, 2011 - Ruby Miller was hostess for the Coffee Club meeting March 2. Those attending were Christine Carrington, Judy Hubbard, Frances Reynolds, Mary Ann Hooks, Melba Compton, Barbara Ashworth, Martha Swindall, Sarah Andry, Rachel Clark and Mary Jane James.
The hostess decorated the tables with red, white and blue to celebrate Texas Independence Day, March 2. The tables were adorned with red tablecloths, red/white/blue plates and napkins with a star motif. A string of red, white and blue stars were strewn down the center of the tables, along with clear based vases with red, white and blue marbles shining through. The vases also had Texas flags in them and a Texas book mark was at each place setting.
The ladies also celebrated a member, Judy Hubbard's, birthday by singing Happy Birthday to her. They enjoyed all types of refreshments including pancakes with ham and also had a great time visiting with each other.
