Free progressive history tour scheduled for Friday evening

Feb. 24, 2011 - On Friday, Feb. 25 from 6-8 p.m. there will be a Progressive History Tour, a FREE event, held in Bonham.

Take a walk back in time. Stroll through the present. Step into the future. And experience history as never before. 

The following historical places will be toured with receptions filled with entertainment, food and history for all ages: Bonham Public Library/City Hall, 305 E. 5th Street with savory foods, wonderful displays and a host of memorabilia; The Fannin County Museum of History/Fannin Historical Commission, One Main Street, refreshments will be served; Sam Rayburn Library, 800 W. Sam Rayburn Drive, refreshments served and Creative Arts Center, 200 W. 5th Street, dessert and coffee served.

Ride the free TAPS bus provided to the various venues starting from the Creative Arts Center parking lot, or travel in the leisure of your own vehicle. For more information, call Bonham Visitors Center at 903-583-9830.
