The purpose of the Raiders Who Rock program is to honor students, organizations, faculty and staff that exemplify values promoted by The Foundation for a Better Life through their actions and services within the Lubbock and Tech communities. The nominees then go through a series of interviews and are recognized on the Raiders Who Rock website with their stories. They also get the chance to meet an MTV star.

In addition. to this honor, Longino was also named to the Business school's Dean's List for the fall 2010 semester. He is the son of Bill and Nancy Longino of Celeste and a 2010 graduate of Leonard High School.
