Chamber of Com. Representatives To Attend Housing Meet

At the Tuesday night meeting of the Chamber of Commerce President Tom Hymer appointed a committee to attend a workshop on housing designed for the elderly in Dallas. The committee is Jack Barbee, Fate Parker, Joe Gaulden and Houston Hurst. They will attend the workshop February 27 and 28 at the Hilton Holtel in Fort Worth.

The chamber is paying the expenses for these men. The trip will be made in an effort to secure more low-rent housing for Leonard.

Mrs. Chennault And Berna Middlebrooks Marry At Grove Hill

Mrs. Willa Mae Chennault and Berna Middlebrooks were married in the Grove Hill Methodist Church on February 2, 1961, at eight oclock in the evening. The Rev. Jim Randle, pastor of the church, read the double ring ceremony.

The couple's attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Day of Commerce and Rev. N. M. Vandagriff, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ladonia, and Mrs. Vandagriff.

Mr. and Mrs. Middlebrooks will make their home in Ladonia.

Register Cars Here Thursday, March 2

Fannin County Tax Assessor-Collector, Henry J. Fletcherannounces representatives from his office will be in Leonard on Thursday, March 2, for the purpose of registering motor vehicles. They will be in the City Hall from 9 A.M. until 4 p.m. on this date.

On Friday morning, March 3, the clerks will be in Trenton at the Tribune office.
