Correa interning with Studio One television show

Leonard native Victor Correa is interning at Studio One, an award-winning television show produced at the University of North Dakota. Correa is the associate producer with the project. He is responsible for developing guest ideas for the show, researching various topics, pre-interviewing potential guests and writing guest memos. He also assists the producer in managing the timing of the show.

Walker, DeJong plan April wedding

Glynn and Chele Walker of College Station, formerly of Leonard, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jessica Michele Walker, to Nicholas Anthony DeJong, son of Willy and Marilyn DeJong of Dublin. Walker is also the great granddaughter of the late Lonnie and LuraBell Goode of Leonard.

LSA girls take third place at state tournament

June 23, 2011 - The LSA 10U Lady Tigers softball team started their 2011 season winning the East Fork pre-season tournament, and finished the regular season undefeated with a record of 14-0. The team received an invitation to compete in the Texas Amateur Softball Association State Tournament, held last weekend in McKinney, and represented Leonard well, placing third overall.

The staff at the newspaper prides themselves on hard work to turn out a quality periodical, and ensuring the news is covered fair and accurately for the southeastern corner of Fannin County. The weekly paper provides coverage of breaking news stories, community events, county news, Celeste, the local schools, business news, and much, much more.The Graphic has been owned by Echo Publishing Company, Inc., based out of Sulphur Springs, since 2006.
